Sticky Digital is an award-winning retention marketing agency with one goal: making customers stick. We specialize in crafting highly effective email marketing strategies that engage, convert, and retain customers for our e-commerce brand clients. We are looking for a talented Email Designer to join our team full-time immediately. In this role, you will help create compelling, high-impact email campaigns for our Shopify clients.
As an Email Designer, you will be responsible for designing visually stunning and conversion-focused email templates that align with each client’s brand identity and retention goals. You’ll collaborate closely with our retention marketing team, graphic designers, and clients to deliver the best customer experience through email design. From initial concept through to final delivery, your work will be critical in ensuring emails drive engagement, build loyalty, and support retention strategies for top-tier Shopify brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams: Work closely with retention marketing strategists, other designers, and clients to create and deliver customized email designs that align with overall marketing goals.
Design engaging emails: Create visually appealing, on-brand email templates optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, ensuring an excellent user experience.
Develop campaign assets: Design eye-catching banners, graphics, and other email content to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Follow best practices: Implement email design best practices, ensuring emails are well-structured, load quickly, and are optimized for accessibility and deliverability.
Maintain email style guides: Help define and enforce design standards to maintain consistency across all email campaigns for each client.
Ensure responsiveness: Ensure all email designs are fully responsive and functional across different devices and email clients (Gmail, Apple, etc.).
Optimize for retention: Design emails that drive customer retention, repeat purchases, and long-term loyalty by leveraging personalization, segmentation, and dynamic content.
Monitor campaign performance: Track the success of email campaigns, A/B test designs, and make iterative improvements based on data insights.
Required Qualifications:
Must be located in the USA.
Proven experience designing email campaigns for e-commerce brands (at least 1 year).
Strong proficiency in designing emails in Adobe Photoshop
Familiarity with designing in Figma
Familiarity with popular email marketing platforms like Klaviyo, Attentive, or Yotpo is a plus
Experience designing responsive emails optimized for both mobile and desktop devices.
Understanding of email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and ability to design with these in mind.
Creative problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and work effectively in a team environment.
