Job description
What you’ll do
Frontier is a subsidiary of Fresh Prints. We help companies grow full-time, cross-functional teams abroad. We hire the smartest people, and we place them into the best companies.

One of our clients, Backbone is a global gaming technology company redefining how the world plays, connects, and competes. They design and build cutting-edge gaming hardware, consumer electronics, and digital subscription products that power immersive experiences across continents.

With a rapidly growing omnichannel D2C presence and operations spanning North America, Europe, and Asia, Backbone delivers both physical and digital experiences seamlessly with precision, innovation, and global impact at the core of everything they do.

The Role

we’re seeking an experienced and detail-obsessed Logistics Manager to lead forward and reverse logistics operations across our global D2C network.

This role requires a professional who thrives under pressure able to execute within tight timelines and strict cost parameters while maintaining impeccable accuracy and control. The ideal candidate has an ownership mentality, a data-driven approach, and a relentless commitment to efficiency, quality, and accountability.

What you’ll Do

Lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including forward logistics (fulfillment, shipping, delivery) and reverse logistics (returns, repairs, refurbishments).

Oversee global and regional 3PL relationships, ensuring service excellence, cost control, and SLA adherence.

Optimize distribution center operations, inventory flow, and last-mile delivery performance.

Manage logistics budgets, negotiate carrier rates, and monitor KPIs to ensure profitability and predictability.

Drive cost-efficiency initiatives without compromising customer experience or delivery speed.

Collaborate with product, supply chain, and customer experience teams to ensure smooth coordination between inbound supply and outbound delivery.

Build robust processes for returns, RMA handling, and product recovery, ensuring minimal loss and maximum sustainability.

Utilize ERP and logistics platforms (eg, NetSuite, ShipBob, Flexport, SAP) for shipment tracking, reporting, and exception management.

Prepare and present detailed logistics and cost reports for executive review.

Continuously improve processes to achieve shorter lead times, lower cost-to-serve, and higher fulfillment accuracy.

What we’re Looking For

Experience: 7+ years in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, ideally in global D2C, consumer hardware, or electronics environments.

Education: bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.

Proven success managing forward and reverse logistics under tight timelines and cost constraints.

Strong understanding of inventory flow, carrier management, warehousing, and returns optimization.

Hands-on experience with 3PLs, e-commerce logistics, and global freight management.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvement.

Exceptional attention to detail and relentless pursuit of operational excellence.

Self-motivated, decisive, and capable of owning results end-to-end.

Proficiency with ERP/logistics software and advanced Excel skills.
