Business Development Manager, Market Research (Remote)
We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional with 1 to 3 years of experience in Market Research sales / client acquisition. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in selling MR services (qual, quant, fieldwork, CATI, transcription, moderation, analysis, etc.) to research agencies, consultancies and/or client-side insights teams. Only candidates from market research BD / sales background should apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new MR clients (global agencies, consulting firms, brands, healthcare, B2B, etc.)
Manage end-to-end BD cycle lead generation, proposal coordination, costing alignment, follow-ups & closing
Work closely with internal field/project ops to ensure realistic costing & capacity commitments
Maintain client relationships, build repeat business, and support revenue forecasting
Prepare decks / proposals / credentials / pitch material as needed
Requirements:
Mandatory: prior Business Development / Sales experience in Market Research or Consulting
Strong understanding of Qual & Quant MR services and costing
Experience dealing with international agencies is preferred
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Ability to independently generate leads, convert and close
Strong negotiation skills and revenue-driven mindset
